The pending time depends on the amount of songs that are queued for processing. Premium accounts will get priority.

Lately, we've noticed some problems where the processing seems to hang for a good 10 minutes before it's getting aborted and the next batch of requests are processed. We'll be monitoring this better and see if we can prevent this 'hanging'. We're also thinking of displaying the amount of requests in the queue, so you'll get a better understanding of how busy the server currently is.

If you want faster processing, the best option is to donate and get a premium account ;-)

This turned out to be easier than expected, so I've added a "bookmarklet" to the help pages of grabthatfile. Take that, go to your favorite bandcamp artist and click on the bookmarklet. A little screen will popup with links directly to the music.
